Every member of a society, in other words, every piece of art in this exhibit has its own small world. Its own independent area like we humans do. Everyone needs enough space around theme. The members of the society are connected to each other and are in interaction with one another. In a good society an individual member gets more and feels well compared to one without a society. However individuals create their own relations inside a society. These relations are not identical and the interactions are different. The pieces of the exhibit are in interaction with each other and their environment. Sculptures continue their dialogue and create their own relationships with the paintings in the gallery hall. The viewer of art can also be part of this conversation based on one´s own views and backgrounds.
The exhibit´s first pieces of art were born inspired by Tytyri´s mine in Lohja. The sculptures made of polyurethane were shaped with clay and freely squeezed out. Afterwards the sculptures were inspiration for my paintings.
